2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (illness) is back in center field and is leading off on Friday against Minnesota Twins right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez. Springer was held out of the team's last two games due to a non-COVID illness, but he'll return for the series opener against Minnesota. The 32-year-old was hitting well before his injury, so fantasy managers are hoping he can pick up where he left off before his illness. Springer continues to be a must-start fantasy asset, as he's slashing .277/.353/.518 with nine home runs, 26 RBI, 30 runs scored and two stolen bases in 166 at-bats in his first 46 games of the 2022 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
