4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer is back in the lineup for Wednesday’s contest against Colorado and right-hander Ryan Castellani, holding down the leadoff spot in the lineup. Springer was absent from Tuesday’s starting nine, but his return comes in the wake of the announcement that Yordan Alvarez (knee) will miss the remainder of the 2020 season. In addition to getting Springer back, Jose Altuve shifted back up the order to the No. 2 hole. Springer has gotten off to a slow start by his standards this year, slashing .200/.351/.367 through his first 18 games. Playing at Coors Field, his price tag for DFS figures to be immense.--Jesse Borek
