3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (quad) ran the bases on Tuesday in Buffalo, according to Rob Langley of the Toronto Sun. Longley adds that while it is positive to see him running the bases, it's not necessarily a sign of an imminent return to the lineup. To say it's been a bit of a lost season early on for Springer is an understatement, as he has only played in four games in what is the first year of a six-year contract he signed this offseason. There's no ETA for his return, but at least this is a step in the right direction and he should hopefully return sooner than later.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
