6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer returned to the starting lineup from a quad injury on Monday and went 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. The Astros offense overpowered the A's on Monday and is the closest it has been to playing at full strength in quite some time. It has been a disappointing fantasy season for Springer thus far, slugging a career-low .431 through 441 at-bats this season. He possesses immense power but has only one home run since July 29 while battling injuries.
