5 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer went 2-for-4 with one run scored and two doubles in the team's 7-2 loss to the Nationals in Game 6 of the World Series. With the Astros trailing 1-0 in the first inning, Springer sparked the offense with a double and then scored on a sacrifice fly from Jose Altuve. Springer is having another fantastic World Series, slashing .348/.483/.783 in the series with two home runs and four doubles. He is 4-for-7 over his last two games and now carries a lifetime 1.380 OPS in the World Series with seven doubles and seven home runs heading into Game 7 on Wednesday night.--Joey C - RotoBaller
