2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (elbow) is not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Kansas City Royals. Springer has played in each of the team's last eight games despite dealing with a sore right elbow, so he'll get a day to rest on Sunday before skipping the All-Star game next week. The 32-year-old will finish the first half of the season with a .250/.330/.474 slash line, an .805 OPS, 17 home runs, 42 RBI, 53 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 308 at-bats. Bradley Zimmer will start in center field on Sunday and hit ninth against Royals left-hander Kris Bubic. Zimmer is one to avoid in DFS, as he's hitting .113 (8-for-71) on the year, including going just 2-for-19 (.105) against left-handers in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
