Gerardo Parra Has Another Solid Spring Game
7 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra had another good game, going 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base. Parra is most likely going to split time with Carlos Gonzalez in right field due to his adept defensive abilities. However, his impressive play could warrant some starts at left field. This game puts Parra at a .500 batting average and a whopping 1.500 OPS, largely in part due to the number of walks he has drawn so far. Parra will look to build off of a .309 batting average, .341 on-base percentage and .452 slugging percentage season last year, and if he is declared in an everyday spot, one should consider adding him to their roster.
