6 years agoFree-agent outfielder Gerardo Parra is progressing toward a deal with the Washington Nationals, according to multiple sources. The 32-year-old was designated for assignment by the Giants on May 3 after batting just .198 through 86 at-bats to start the season. The Nationals will get Juan Soto back this weekend, so Parra will serve as a depth option in the outfield and won't have much fantasy value in any format when everyone is healthy.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
