3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Gerardo Parra swiped his first bag of the season Friday. He started in right field and batted eighth, going 0-for-2 with a hit-by-pitch and a run scored in the 8-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves. Parra hasn't seen much playing time since being called back up to the majors in June, and though at-bats have opened up in the wake of the trade deadline sell-off, plenty of those opportunities will go to younger players. With just two homers and now one steal in his 81 at-bats, Parra's days as a useful fantasy piece are all but over.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
