German Marquez Completes Second Quality Start In A Row Thursday
2 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez held the St. Louis Cardinals in check on Thursday, allowing two runs in six innings, en route to his second consecutive quality start and 11th of the season. He struck out six and walked just one but wasn't in line for the victory. The right-hander owns a 6-9 record, 5.08 ERA, 18.8 K%, and 1.42 WHIP over 22 starts. As expected, Marquez has much better numbers on the road with a 4.07 ERA and 1.27 WHIP, and he's been hot lately, posting a 3.50 ERA across his last seven starts. He's not rosterable in every league, but fantasy managers can stream him in road games if they're in need of an arm.
