4 years agoColorado Rockies starter German Marquez surrendered 10 runs on 10 hits across five innings of work during Thursday's 10-8 loss to the Houston Astros. He struck out five batters while walking two. It was a terrible performance from the 25-year-old, as he saw his ERA jump from 2.25 to 4.38. He has also given up 19 hits across his past two appearances. Marquez had a few similar blowups in the 2019 season, but hopefully, he can get things back on track. His next projected start will come on Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
