German Marquez Removed From Wednesday's Start
2 years agoColorado Rockies pitcher German Marquez was checked out by the trainers and removed from Wednesday's start during the fourth inning against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Rockies didn't specify what was bothering the right-hander, but he struggled before exiting. The 27-year-old allowed five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two across 3 1/3 innings before leaving. The severity of his injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. Marquez can be left on the waiver wire in most league formats after posting a 5.89 ERA and 1.54 WHIP over 84 innings in 2022.
