4 years agoColorado Rockies starter German Marquez allowed one run on five hits across six innings of work during Monday's 7-2 win over the San Francisco Giants. He struck out three batters while issuing one walk. All four of Marquez's appearances in September have been quality starts, resulting in a 2.70 ERA across 26 2/3 innings in the month. On the season, he owns a 3-6 record to go along with a 4.10 ERA and 1.30 WHIP, but those numbers are buoyed by a 10-run outing against the Houston Astros on August 20. Either way, he looks like a decent fantasy option in his final start of the season against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
