5 years agoHouston Astros starter Gerrit Cole will take the ball on Tuesday against the Mariners hoping to make Astros history. Cole (18-5) leads the majors with 302 strikeouts this season and is 11 shy of breaking the Astros franchise record. It has been a dominant second half for the soon-to-be free agent and is 12-0 with a 1.74 ERA over his last 15 starts with 152 punch-outs through 103 2/3 innings. The only thing the Astros are playing for is the playoffs so they could opt to keep Cole on a pitch count. Regardless, he is an elite DFS option for Tuesday--Joey C - RotoBaller
