6 years agoHouston Astros starter Gerrit Cole will try and earn his 16th win of the season when the team takes on the Brewers in Milwaukee on Monday. Cole is 6-0 over his last seven starts, posting a 1.89 ERA and a 0.78 WHIP over that span. The pending free agent is posting a career-high 13.32 K/9 rate and leads all of baseball with 252 strikeouts this season. Cole has strong career numbers against most of the Brewers hitters, minus the unstoppable Christian Yelich. The veteran hurler will want to pitch cautiously to Yelich, who has a career .583 batting average with two home runs against Cole.--Joey C - RotoBaller
