Gerrit Cole Has An Uneven Performance On Monday
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole wound up with a solid six-inning, one-run performance on Monday, but the 29-year-old allowed 10 hard-hit balls and posted a poor 7.7% swinging-strike rate on the night. Cole’s command looked a little shaky on Monday as he left a few too many pitches over the heart of the plate including a moonshot foul ball off the bat of Didi Gregorious. Even so, there’s nothing for fantasy players to be particularly concerned about regarding Cole’s long-term performance, and he should be expected to dominate over the rest of the season.
