6 years agoHouston Astros starter Gerrit Cole will look to shut down the A's when the team opens up a series with the A's on Monday night. Cole (11-5) is only 1-3 since July 24 despite continuing to dominate the competition. Cole is averaging 12.35 K/9 this season and still has a 3.47 ERA in the second half despite the less than stellar results in the win column. Cole struck out 11 hitters in six scoreless innings on July 9 against the A's and is an elite option in fantasy for Monday's action.--Joey C - RotoBaller
