4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole pitched well against the Orioles on Wednesday, allowing three runs with seven strikeouts over 6.2 innings. Cole may have underperformed expectations against a weak Baltimore lineup, but his performance was nothing to scoff at and raised no red-flags for his rest of season performance. Cole’s next start is likely to come against either the Phillies or the Rays, but with a 2.50 ERA coming into the season the 29-year-old is effectively matchup-proof for fantasy players.--Sam Chinitz
