5 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Gerrit Cole was a late scratch from his scheduled start Tuesday at the White Sox. Chris Devenski will start the second game of the doubleheader in Chicago in place of Cole. According to Julia Morales, Cole was warming up in the bullpen but then made his way to the clubhouse after a few minutes. It is unclear what injury, if any, Cole suffered but this is not a good sign for the Astros or Cole's fantasy owners.
