4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole picked up 10 strikeouts over 6.2 innings of two-run ball against the Rays on Wednesday. Wednesday was only Cole’s second double-digit strikeout performance of the season after he struck out at least 10 batters in a ridiculous 21 of his 33 starts last season, but the 29-year-old has looked good this season and left Wednesday’s start with a 2.75 ERA. Fantasy players should expect Cole to continue playing well this season and finish as an elite fantasy option.--Sam Chinitz
