7 years agoHouston Astros starter Gerrit Cole struck out 12 Oakland hitters through 6 2/3 innings of work. It was another dominant performance for Cole, who threw 73 strikes out of only 99 pitches. This already marks the fourth time this season Cole has struck out 10 or more hitters in an outing and he has made only six starts all season. Cole now sports an ERA of 1.73 and has been one of the biggest fantasy steals through the first month of the season. It is hard to foresee Cole keeping up this torrid pace, making him an intriguing sell-high candidate in the fantasy trade market.--Joey C - RotoBaller
