6 years agoHouston Astros starter Gerrit Cole dominated the Rangers for the third time this season, allowing only three hits and one run in six innings Thursday night. Cole (7-1) struck out eight and now has three wins under his belt this season against the Rangers. Cole has struck out at least seven hitters in 12 of his first 13 starts this season and has shrunk his already tiny ERA down to 2.16. Cole is a surefire All-Star at this point, dueling with teammate Justin Verlander and Yankees starter Luis Severino for best pitcher in the American League right now.--Joey C - RotoBaller
