7 years agoHouston Astros starter Gerrit Cole will take the mound Monday against the Angels looking to make it five straight dominant starts to begin the season. Cole has pitched seven innings in each of his first four starts (28 total), allowing only three earned runs and 15 hits while striking out 41. His ERA is a microscopic 0.96 and early signs point to Cole returning to his 2015 form when he was a runner-up for the Cy Young award. He has at least 10 strikeouts in three of his first four starts and will take on an improved Angels lineup Monday. Cole has shown to be an early All-Star candidate and has been one of the biggest fantasy steals thus far.--Joey C - RotoBaller
