4 years agoGian Villante (17-11) will take on his first bout in his new home of the heavyweight division. Villante has been on the big stage for many years now, fighting with the UFC since 2013. The 6-foot-2 strong wrestler was a two-sport athlete while at Hofstra University. Despite the wrestling pedigree, 10 of Villante's 12 finishes are by way of knockout. The wrestling does come in handy with his 83% takedown defense percentage. He will need to be careful not to eat strikes from the bigger Maurice Greene, to whom Villante has a 6.43 significant strikes-absorbed-per-minute stat. Villante will need to carefully pick his shots and try to wear down the bigger man.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
