Giancarlo Stanton Fully Healthy Entering Spring Training
5 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is fully healthy and should make his spring training debut on February 24th. Stanton only managed to play in 18 games last season as he battled a variety of injuries, so his health will be important to monitor as fantasy drafts approach. Stanton is still a premier power hitter when healthy, boasting a 93.7 mph average exit velocity and a 50.5% hard-hit rate in 2018. Given his power ability, Stanton’s ADP of 52 has some injury risk built in, and fantasy owners should be comfortable drafting him if his health is maintained.
