4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder and DH Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) took at-bats at the team’s alternate site on Sunday and appears likely to return by the beginning of next week as a result. Manager Aaron Boone was optimistic that Stanton would return to the team soon, and his latest update has Stanton on track to return comfortably before the end of the regular season. Stanton should be an elite power hitter once he returns to the lineup after posting a 1.038 OPS through his first 14 games this season, and fantasy managers should expect the 30-year-old to largely maintain his hot start as long as he’s fully healthy.--Sam Chinitz
