Giancarlo Stanton Not In Wednesday's Game 1 Lineup
2 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter and outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (foot) isn't in the team's lineup for the first game of a doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday. Stanton is batting .214 with a .297 on-base percentage and 24 home runs in 371 plate appearances. Aaron Judge is starting at designated hitter instead and batting second with Estevan Florial entering the lineup as the team's center fielder. The 24-year-old is batting seventh against the Twins and right-handed starter Louie Varland. In 22 plate appearances with the Yankees this season, Florial has collected a hit, a walk and a stolen base. Fantasy managers in search of streaming help are probably better off looking elsewhere.
