4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton homered in his first at-bat against Max Scherzer as part of a 2-for-3 night with three RBI on Thursday. Any concerns about Stanton's calf bothering him we're quickly alleviated, though he did DH and is unlikely to play defense for most of this season. Fantasy owners should expect Stanton to be an elite power hitter this season after he clubbed a combined 97 home runs between 2017 and 2018, and he's gotten off to a hot start this year.--Sam Chinitz
