6 years agoThe San Francisco Giants are finalizing an agreement with free-agent outfielder Cameron Maybin. He hit .249 with four homers, 28 RBI and 10 stolen bases across 129 games in 2018 with the Miami Marlins and Seattle Mariners. The Giants are still looking to shore up their left and center field starting spots, as well as several bench spots. Maybin brings a veteran presence and center field experience to a team which has been rather lacking at that position. The only other right-handed hitting center fielder in camp is Rule 5 pick Drew Ferguson.--Daniel Dobish
