Giants Likely To Release James Bradberry
3 years agoNew York Giants general manager Joe Schoen said the team should have a resolution on cornerback James Bradberry by the end of the week, and the situation is obviously headed toward his release. The Giants were hoping to be able to trade Bradberry this offseason, but it doesn't appear that any teams want to trade for him. If New York cuts the 28-year-old by the end of the week, they'll save $10.1 million in salary cap space. He was a first-time Pro Bowler in his first year with the G-Men in 2020, and he managed a career-high four interceptions, two fumble recoveries and 47 tackles (37 solo) in 17 games (16 games) last year. Wherever he lands in 2022, he should be a productive member of a team's secondary.
