4 years agoAfter momentum was growing earlier this week about a possible call up for San Francisco Giants catching prospect Joey Bart, it appears the team has reversed its course. According to a Giants beat writer, the 23-year-old's promotion is "nowhere near imminent," and the team is "not convinced" that he's ready for the big leagues. While this may be true, Bart will get the call to the majors at some point this season with Buster Posey opting out of the season and the club likely falling out of playoff contention. Bart's bat remains valuable in dynasty formats, but he may not impact redraft leagues for another few weeks.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
