7 years agoThe New York Giants opened contract extension talks with wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. earlier this week, according to a source. OBJ has been participating regularly in live drills in training camp, and the Giants wanted to see that he bought into the new regime before moving forward. The team also wanted to see that his ankle was holding up after he broke it last October. There's a good chance the two sides can get something done before Week 1, and he could become the highest paid wide receiver in the league. Beckham is a three-time Pro Bowler who averaged 96 catches, 1,374 yards and 11.7 touchdowns in his first three years. Beckham should be one of the first wide receivers off the board in the first round.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
