7 years agoThe San Francisco Giants have placed starting pitcher Johnny Cueto (ankle) on the 10-day disabled list with a left ankle sprain. It’s a shame, as Cueto has been off to a hot start. Pitcher Albert Suarez is expected to start Wednesday in place of Cueto, and the club also promoted pitcher Steven Okert to take Cueto’s spot. There is no timetable on how long Cueto will miss, but the hope is that he can come back when he is first eligible.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
