Giants Plan To Start Jake Fromm In Week 16
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Jake Fromm is in line to serve as the team's starting quarterback for Sunday's matchup against the Eagles, per Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post. Fromm entered in the second half of a Week 15 matchup with the Cowboys and went 6-for-12 for 82 yards, but he also seemed to spark an offense that had been largely listless under Mike Glennon. With Daniel Jones (neck) done for the season, it appears that head coach Joe Judge is going to give Fromm a leash to prove himself as the team's signal caller down the stretch. Traditionally, a third QB proves disastrous for the upside of pass catchers, but Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney (oblique, quad), Darius Slayton, and Evan Engram are in arguably better positions entering Week 16 than before. While Fromm is far too risky to consider in season-long semifinals/finals matchup, he could be a solid contrarian DFS option in tournament lineups at his price tag.
