3 years agoThe New York Giants added another offensive weapon by taking tight end Daniel Bellinger out of San Diego State University at pick No. 112 in the 2022 NFL Draft. Already surprising many with the selection of wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson in the second round, the 21-year-old Bellinger is also an interesting choice. It appears that new head coach Brian Daboll is prioritizing depth at skill positions. However, with the team declining to pick up quarterback Daniel Jones' fifth-year option, it may be more of a long-term play. At 6'5'' and 253 pounds, Bellinger has the size to demand attention over the middle. Still, his athletic profile may make it challenging to carve out a meaningful role alongside fellow tight ends Ricky Seals-Jones and Jordan Akins.--Dessy John
