4 years agoThe San Francisco Giants closed their Scottsdale Stadium facility on Friday "after one person who had been in the facility and one family member exhibited mild symptoms and were tested," per president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi. The organization is awaiting test results. The Giants recommended that others who had been at the facility should also get tested. The first reported cases in the MLB came earlier Friday in the form of five Philadelphia Phillies players and three staff members. The effects of the positive cases on the start of the season are unknown, although they will likely make an already tricky situation that much more difficult to navigate.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
