4 years agoThe San Francisco Giants have signed right-handed pitcher Aaron Sanchez to a one-year deal worth $4 million plus incentives, per the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser. The 28-year-old reportedly touched 98 mph on his fastball during a recent bullpen session. Sanchez once held fantasy intrigue but was plagued by injuries and poor performance over the past several seasons, which did not include 2020. Consequently, Sanchez has not been drafted at all in fantasy leagues this season. However, if he can keep his fastball lively to accompany his arsenal of offspeed pitches, there may be a chance that the Giants can help him turn things around, much like they did with Kevin Gausman last season.
