7 years agoAlex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports that members of the San Francisco Giants are hopeful that starting pitcher Gerrit Cole being dealt to the Houston Astros will clear the way for the team to acquire outfielder Andrew McCutchen. Cole being moved from the Giants is a definite sign that they are rebuilding, and McCutchen could be the next to go. The Giants have made it known that they are seeking outfield help and have been heavily linked to McCutchen. The team has also inquired about Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
