7 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays have sent infielder Gift Ngoepe outright to Triple-A Buffalo. Ngoepe was designated for assignment last week and cleared waivers. Ngoepe has one hit across 19 plate appearances with the big club this year, including 12 strikeouts and a walk. He’ll look to improve upon his putrid .160/.276/.200 Triple-A slash line that he had prior to being called up. We don’t think we need to tell you this, but Ngoepe can safely be avoided in every fantasy league under the sun.--John Smith
