4 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela (elbow) could return to the lineup as soon as Sunday, according to manager Aaron Boone. Urshela missed both games in Friday’s doubleheader and is slated to miss Saturday’s game as well after reporting a bone spur in his right elbow on Wednesday. The Yankees had been optimistic that Urshela would avoid a stint on the injured list, and that appears to be likely at this point. Fantasy players should monitor Urshela’s elbow just in case it flares up, but expect him to be healthy for the rest of the season.--Sam Chinitz
