Gio Urshela Hits Second Career Grand Slam
4 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela hit his second career grand slam as part of a 2-for-5 game against the Indians on Wednesday. A bone spur in his elbow sidelined Urshela for a handful of games this season, but the 28-year-old has hit well this season with a .858 OPS over 43 regular-season games. Urshela has now posted back-to-back regular seasons with an OPS above .850, and his performance has been well-supported by an xwOBA north of .350 in both seasons. Another grand slam is unlikely, but fantasy managers should expect Urshela to continue hitting well through the rest of the postseason.
