Giovanny Urshela Leaves After Being Hit on Hand
5 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Giovanny Urshela left Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay after being hit on the hand by a 95 mph fastball by Rays pitcher Diego Castillo in the sixth inning. After being hit and running the bases, Urshela played another half inning of defense before being substituted out. Urshela has been in a slump as of late, going o-for-19 in his last six games, but he has been a surprising source of offense for the Yankees in 2019. More won't be known until the results of Urshela's X-rays are revealed.
