4 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela (knee) is not expected to be placed on the injured list Friday, per Jack Curry of the Yes Network. Urshela had to leave Thursday's game early with an apparent knee injury and was slated for an MRI following the game, though Curry's reporting seems to suggest that the tests on his knee came back clean. This would be excellent news for both the Yankees and Urshela's fantasy managers- as the 29-year-old is slashing .287/.342/.455 with four homers, a stolen base, and 16 RBI in 29 games played for the Yankees in 2021.--Tim Capurso
