3 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela is not in the starting lineup Saturday against Spencer Turnbull and the Tigers. First baseman Mike Ford is in the lineup and batting sixth while DJ LeMahieu will move from first base to third base in place of Urshela. It appears to be a routine day off for Urshela who should be available to pinch-hit if needed. The 29-year-old has gotten off to a slow start this season as his batting average (.270), on-base percentage (.324), and slugging percentage (.415) are all well below where they've been the past two seasons.
