Giovani Bernard Has Upside And Risk In Week 10
4 years agoWith Joe Mixon (foot) out, Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard will get another shot at the lead-back role on Sunday against the Steelers. Bernard has gotten some good volume the last couple of weeks and has three touchdowns in the past two games, but this matchup with the Steelers has the makings of one where Cincy may have to move away from the running game. Bernard's yards per carry haven't been great as a starter, so if we project fewer opportunities for him this week, we can also expect some lower production. Consider Bernard a low-end RB2 play in this difficult matchup.
