Giovani Bernard Hoping To Flourish In New Offense
5 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard is looking to bounce back this season under new head coach Zac Taylor. Though running back Joe Mixon is projected to handle most of the snaps as the team's main rusher, Bernard is likely to become more involved by being utilized in different receiving schemes when the season begins in September. The 27-year-old, who has missed time throughout the years while battling knee issues, rushed for a career-low 211 yards last season while hauling in just 35 receptions for 218 yards. However, if he can remain healthy, he could be in store for a productive season under new leadership in Cincy, more so in PPR formats.
