Giovani Bernard Retains RB2 Status For Week 11 Contest
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard once again stands to be the team's primary running back for Sunday's matchup against Washington due to the injury to Joe Mixon (foot). Bernard has compiled three touchdowns (one rushing, two receiving) in his three prior starts, averaging 43 rushing yards and 30 receiving yards per contest. While some fantasy managers may be scared off by his eight carries last week despite his unquestioned RB1 status for the Bengals, that was predominantly due to the imbalance on the scoreboard. Bernard is an easy RB2 option in all season-long formats for Week 11, although Mixon undoubtedly inches closer to a return on a week-by-week basis.
