5 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard ran for a season-high 31 yards during the loss to the Rams on Sunday. Though the 27-year-old had just three rushing attempts, he was able to salvage what would have been a dismal performance by breaking out a 25-yard gain midway through the second quarter in addition to bringing in two receptions for 14 yards on the day. Nonetheless, Bernard continues to be a shell of his former self, and while this performance was slightly encouraging, he has a way to go before landing himself back on fantasy rosters in most leagues.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
