3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher and apparent new closer Giovanny Gallegos earned his fifth save of the season in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Gallegos inherited two runners, allowing one to score but recording the last two outs of the game before the Dodgers could tie things up. It's the fifth save of the season for Gallegos, but more importantly, he's been on the mound for every save chance since Alex Reyes was demoted to earlier innings. Gallegos needs to be rostered in all formats at this point.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
