3 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Givani Smith netted his second goal this year, handing the Islanders their 10th straight loss. Smith also added an assist on a first-period Sam Gagner goal. The 22-year-old has skated in 19 contests for Detroit so far, producing two goals and two helpers. He has 21 shots on goal while averaging over 8 minutes of ice time per contest.
